Here we have a straight orchestral sample being slowly pitch scaled up and down. The actual pitch shown with the white inner ring slowly moves towards the user pointer using a high smoothing parameter.
A straight synth line is made completely flexible by playing chords through MIDI. Up to eight note offsets at once, which can all be scaled with the wheel at the same time.
Here we have a whole beat and sax loop put through Pitchwheel. Using a low Gravity value gives some crazy spins of many octaves! Everything of course stays at the same BPM.
Here's an idea for making a short vocal sample much more interesting by playing MIDI through Pitchwheel. Using low chords creates a good alien effect at the end here.
The range is set to +- 1 semitone here, indicated by the outer ring markings. This allows fine tuning of the pitch bend, demonstrated by a few repeating guitar chords. Also shows low gravity wobble effects.
