This is an example of recording movement in the RaySpace environment. The purple coloured marker is the position of my voice,  and the yellow marker is you, the listener. When I walk away, my voice becomes more distant and echoey, mixing with all the  changing and complex sound reflections as I move into the surrounding hall. Turning the corner here on the right causes all  immediate sounds to be blocked, and you will only hear reflections from the walls. As I move down the corridor the dampening  effect of these reflections dulls the sound down to a distant murmur.
